Unfinished: Priyanka Chopra Reveals A Director Once Asked Her To Enhance Her Assets; Suggested A 'B**b Job'
In an excerpt from Priyanka Chopra’s memoir, the actress revealed being asked to fix her assets by a director in the early days of her career
Priyanka Chopra kick started 2021 on a great note, as her first release, The White Tiger is garnering appreciations, excerpts from her memoir, Unfinished have made it to the internet. The actress has revealed in her memoir that in the very initial days of her career after she won Miss World Pageant, she was asked by a filmmaker to go under the knife to get her assets enhanced. This incident had left her stunned and also resulted in parting ways with her manager who agreed with him.
The Independent carried the actress’ quote from the memoir, describing the unpleasant incident, PeeCee said, "After a few minutes of small talk, the director/producer told me to stand up and twirl for him. I did. He stared at me long and hard, assessing me, and then suggested that I get a b**b job, fix my jaw, and add a little more cushioning to my b*tt. If I wanted to be an actress, he said, I’d need to have my proportions fixed, and he knew a great doctor in LA he could send me to. My then-manager voiced his agreement with the assessment."
When her then manager agreed with the filmmaker, it left her shocked and decided to part ways with him.
Over the period of year, the Indian actress has made a mark on the global platform with her acting chops, philanthropic work and being associated with causes which would help society to be a better place.
